Best Way to Store Miscellaneous Items

We all have that one drawer that holds all of our miscellaneous junk. Some of us even keep our unwanted screws and bolts in a coffee can. But, with these setups, it can become impossible to find what you’re looking for, or even to know if what you need is in the drawer in the first place.

Instead of letting your miscellaneous items run loose, move them all into a large, heavy-duty zip-top bag. This way, you can easily assess your bag to tell if what you need is inside. If it is, you can push it to the top, and if not, you can avoid the frustration of digging through a bunch of items in vain.

While you’re transferring your junk drawer, take a moment to assess everything that’s inside. Rusted bolts? Potentially dead batteries? Toss out anything you don’t need—especially if you have enough miscellaneous items to fill up more than one bag.
